Digital Metal Tube Rotameter
As well as measuring the flow rate of different fluids within a wide range of high temperatures and pressures, Rotameter digital, also known as variable area flow meter, is designed for use in hazardous environments. As a result, it provides precise measurements, especially for low flow or corrosive liquids.
Working principle
Using a variable area principle, this digital metal tube rotameter works. In this flow sensor, a tapered metallic tube is used. These tubes can be either PTFE-lined stainless steel or stainless steel. Pistons or floats are placed at the center of the tube. As the fluid flows, the pressure causes the float to shift position. When there is no flow, the float normally rests at the bottom of the tube due to gravitational attraction.
